Beautify Your Home
Monday, October 13, 2008

Your teenager has said that she wants to change the look of her bedroom. She’s tired of having it look so girly and wants to have a room that reflects the real her. At this point in time, every parent is rolling their eyes and groaning. Making a growing girl happy with the décor of her room can be extremely difficult, as girls tend to go through so many more changes than boys do. One moment they are enjoying princesses and fairy tale stories, and the next they are listening to hip hop and trying to figure out which shade of lipstick looks the best. When you’ve got a fussy teenager, the best idea is to look at the many different styles of metal headboards available.

The Morgan Headboard is a great headboard if your daughter is into doodling or creating unique, artistic designs. This contemporary headboard is made of twisting, curving arches that make a very unique yet simple shape. It is finished in a black coat, giving it a hard edge to it, and is made solidly so that your young woman can take it along with her no matter how far she may roam from home as she becomes an adult.

Created by Hillsdale Furniture, the Morgan Headboard is affordable bedroom furniture at its best. It comes in a variety of sizes, from twin to full and to queen. The full and queen sizes, however, are duopanel headboards, which can create a very unique design in itself. Duopanel headboards use the same panel twice or three times to create the width of bed that you need, thereby duplicating the design a number of times. This can be great for teens who have a full sized bed. You may want to avoid using this headboard in your guest bedroom, however, unless you really want a conversation starter!
